Meet the Client: The Eveson Charitable Trust

For our next instalment of our client Q&As, we would like to introduce you to Claire Bowry, the Chief Executive of The Eveson Charitable Trust.

What does your business do?
The Eveson Charitable Trust is a registered charity and we award grants to charities working in certain cause areas mentioned in our governing document.

How did you get into the industry?
I took a part-time fundraising job at a local hospice and have been working for charities one way or another ever since.

What do you like best about your job?
Being part of an organisation which supports charities to help people in need.

What is your business’s USP?
Reliability – we have funded lots of our beneficiary charities for many years.

Where do you get most of your new work from?
Charities hear about us through funding websites and infrastructure organisations.

How has working with Worcester Web Studio helped you?
We really needed a new website and Worcester Web Studio created a modern and easy to use website. We’ve had lots of comments about how easy it is to use. They’ve also just set up a new web to lead form for our database.

Where do you see your business in five years’ time?
Still based in Worcester helping local charities and proud to do so.

What advice would you give to someone starting their first business?
Honour your agreements and have fun – the hours fly by if you enjoy what you do.

Thank you, Clare – it’s great to hear about the positive feedback on your website
